Bettanin G. & Venturi G. snc is a craftsman company, based on ancient traditions and kwowledgements, handed down from father to son. Indeed, since the second half of the 19th century, at Thiene (near Vicenza), the Bettanins worked leather goods, also shoes among the others. But it's in the next century that they specialize exclusive in shoes, from working boots to hiking boots and sewed shoes; during World War II, for instance, several boots for partisans were manufactured, while in the 50s, the gradual passage from crafts to industry began; and in these years a youg Giuseppe learnt the basics of craft.

Telling in few words the carrer of Giuseppe is not easy; since he was young he demostrated his ability, learning skilfully every single task, from tecnical-practical to managerial. It's in 70s that he started his entrepreneurial activity, when he decided to move to Verona. Here he set up his first company, Sheraton, producting pret-a-porter shoes, beside being consultant for several importers.
In 1977 he married with Gianna Venturi, Sheraton's master of giunteria, and together, in early '90s, they decided to face a new challenge.

In 1994 they set up Bettanin & Venturi, creating and manufactoring handmade shoes, made up by ancient traditions (such us Norwegian or Cadenon manufactor) and style and requirements of these days.
Today Bettanin & Venturi produces determinated and stylish shoes, but above all of the highest quality.
A quality that isn't only an arrival, but a start for a continuous improvement.
